Job Title: Business Development Associate

Job Type: Full Time; Graveyard Shift

Location: Philippines (Remote)

 

We are seeking a Business Development Associate who can strategically drive revenue and growth through market research and sales strategies. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, results-driven and highly motivated individual. They should be able to develop and manage new prospective leads as well as maintain existing relationships.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Leads the development and implementation of the business strategy
  • Provides advice and recommendations on business opportunities
  • Data mining/networking to discover new leads
  • Set appointments with prospects with the goal of generating sales revenue and building customer loyalty
  • Develop, organize, and nurture a pipeline of business development leads from initial contact to qualified/closed status

Essential Duties:

  • Identify, qualify, and build relationships with senior business leaders as potential clients through outbound calls, emails, social media, and other methods.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to determine strategic placement in the market and identify the most effective communication approach.
  • Develop marketing strategies to promote the services and programs offered by the BPO center to its specific target audiences.
  • Partner with our other functional areas and teams to deliver winning contract proposals and tender responses for prospective clients.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships to foster repeat business from existing clients and acquire new clients from competitors.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget parameters.
  • Other essential duties related to the position to meet the ongoing needs of the company.

  • Bachelor's or College Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years sales leadership experience, with a focus on BPO services and programs
  • A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets when selling BPO outsourcing services (such as accounting, telemarketing, data recording, social media, customer support).
  • Strong written, interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Results-orientated mindset with a focus on achieving targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other common office software tools is necessary.
  • The ability to work effectively with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty is essential.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
