POSITION OVERVIEW

Talent Acquisition Manager

The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead the recruitment efforts across several locations.  This role is responsible for implementing strategies and processes to support our goal of attracting, hiring and on-boarding the best available candidates in a timely, service oriented manner.  He or she will also oversee the talent acquisition team to ensure efficiency, service excellence and timeliness.  The Manager will continuously evaluate and update work-flows, methods and processes to remain contemporary and effective, and develop and track meaningful metrics to monitor the success of the division.  The position supervises a staff of 6-10 talent acquisition specialists.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT DOES A TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGER DO? 

Engage and excite your team, guiding them to meet and exceed goals. You will become an expert on process and productivity driven recruitment! Learning and growing in your role will be your primary responsibility.

 

Our Talent Acquisition Manger are responsible for the following:

  • Execute and deliver on institutional talent acquisition goals and streamline on-boarding processes to ensure value added Recruitment and timely processing of new hires
  • Ensure effective recruitment by utilizing, promoting and managing to contemporary sourcing methods and effective interviewing/candidate evaluation techniques
  • Develop metrics to assess the results of Recruiters and the division and hold Recruitment and On-boarding teams accountable for gaps in service, timeliness or quality
  • Address gaps, where possible, through training and/or coaching
  • Maintain close contact with Business Partners and Hiring Managers to monitor customer satisfaction
  • Promote open dialogue and communication to help ensure hiring managers’ needs are met
  • Analyze the usage of executive recruiters, headhunters and staffing agencies and develop a strategy that defines when a search is best served by using an outside resource
  • Review current vendor lists and develop a method to determine what resource should be retained as preferred vendors
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and manage all vendor relationships
  • Monitor recruitment and on-boarding related compliance issues to ensure Company has an appropriate screening program in place
  • This includes health and toxicology screenings, background checks, licenses and certifications, and employment references

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

The Talent Acquisition Manager should bring a mix of experience, talent, style and values that will enable them to succeed in a complex, diverse, environment and assist in maintaining Company's status as a leading provider of business process outsourcing services.  An ideal candidate will also bring the following professional experience and personal qualities to this important role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience as a recruiter and a recruiting manager
  • At least 2 years’ experience leading all activities of a full cycle recruitment team at a medium to large organization
  • Proven experience independently creating and implementing a full range of recruitment and onboarding plans
  • Expert level knowledge of contemporary and effective recruitment strategies, and extensive experience implementing those strategies in a complex, high growth environment
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to engage staff, manage change and influence others
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Must be authorized to work in their country of residence (The United States or Canada)
  • Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint.  Job offers are contingent on background/security investigation results
