We are seeking a skilled and solutions-driven SQL Developer / Database Solutions Specialist to join our team. This full-time role reports directly to senior management and is responsible for maintaining existing data applications while developing new database solutions and workflows to support evolving business needs across multiple contact center clients and divisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong MS SQL development experience, a passion for data optimization and automation, and the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and optimize MS SQL and MySQL procedures, scripts, and workflows.
  • Design and maintain database solutions for multiple contact center clients and divisions.
  • Create and manage data migration, ETL, and data aggregation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain stored procedures, SQL scripts, and SQL Agent Jobs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database, integration, and data-related issues.
  • Design, manage, and support data integrations and aggregations.
  • Collaborate with Operations teams to fulfill reporting requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Improve data collection processes, reporting efficiency, reporting UI, and report presentation.
  • Perform SQL optimization, query tuning, and implement indexing strategies to improve database performance.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reporting solutions and dashboards.
  • Utilize AI tools and automation resources to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and enhance development efficiency.
  • Define project specifications, scope, timelines, and maintain project plans for assigned deliverables.
  • Produce clear and concise technical and end-user documentation.
  • Analyze business requirements and develop scalable database solutions.
  • Work closely with staff and end users to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Review, test, and troubleshoot solutions prior to deployment.

  • Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and data aggregation solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server tools including SSMS and SSIS.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Strong SQL performance tuning and query optimization skills.
  • Understanding of automation and scripting for database-related tasks.
  • Ability to utilize AI tools and technologies to automate development and operational processes.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent documentation and procedure-writing skills.
  • Experience with JSON, XML, and Web Services is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Currently reside in San Fernando, its surrounding areas, or Angeles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
